is osteoporosis a contraindication for shock-wave therapy.

We have started to use shock wave therapy for tendinopathies and plantar fasciitis with great results. however i'm finding it hard to find a consensus for the use of shockwave on patients with osteoporosis. some of the research i have found states it could actually be beneficial for osteoporosis, however some publications have included osteoporosis as a contraindication.
